cosmos 1 or 2 should have been in movie Interstellar. it's obvious that hans zimmer, the composer for the movie, was inspired by this album and i'd evn say that he stole ideas from you, blatantly
Fernando Corona's third album as Murcof marks a dramatic departure from previous works. Truly monumental in scale, Cosmos is composed almost entirely of recordings of classical instruments. It’s a move away from the micro-programmed sound of previous albums towards a grander compositional vision, and the seamless integration of these apparently opposed forms is almost unprecedented.
This superb album carries classical reinterpretations with style and innovation. The minimalist piano pieces are brought into a new light, infused with electronic ambient tracks that englobe the piano rather than just extracting a sampling snippet. Murcof’s style shinning through all of the composer's works making this a very meaningful album of dialogue between neo-classism, contemporary, minimalism, ambient, electronic music possible today.
